Who says gummies are just for kids?

Besides being cute and fun to jiggle, these gummies are seriously great for you. Store-bought gummies don’t even compare in terms of health benefit. In fact, those can subtract from good health with the additives and artificial colors they contain.

By using real food ingredients, you're giving your body quality nutrients that it knows what to do with. Ingredients that will support your gut, hormone, and immune health all at the same time. Win, win win!

These simple gummies contain:

Homemade Cherry Gummies


  • 1 1/2 cups organic tart cherry juice
  • 4 Tbsp grass-fed gelatin
  • 1-2 tbsp raw honey (optional; preferably local)
  • 2 Tbsp elderberry syrup (optional; see note below)


  1. Add cherry juice to a small saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin on top and allow it to "bloom" for about 5 minutes. The juice will thicken, and the surface will appear wrinkly.
  2. Set saucepan over LOW heat and begin stirring gently with a whisk until juice mixture thins. Continue whisking for a few minutes until gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not allow the mixture to heat beyond slightly warm. Remove from heat.
  3. When gelatin is completely dissolved, add honey and elderberry syrup if desired.
  4. Pour juice mixture into small, individual silicone molds...½ to 1 tablespoon per gummy. You can also pour into a small baking dish coated with coconut oil.
  5. Refrigerate gelatin mixture and allow to set for 2 hours.
  6. Remove gummies from molds when they're cold to prevent breaking. If you used a baking dish, cut into individual squares.
  7. Store refrigerated in an airtight container for 1 week...if they last that long!
👉🏼Enjoy 1 or 2 gummies a day, especially before bedtime. Cherry juice can increase your circulating melatonin levels...your natural sleep hormone.
👉🏼I used R.W. Knudsen organic tart cherry juice. You can substitute any other juice or combine multiple juices for this recipe. If you use pineapple juice, you need to boil the juice first to break down the bromelain enzyme so your gelatin will gel.
